Steve Bayman apprenticed at A Different Drummer in Wichita Falls Texas. Owned by Steve Blakely and guided by Rodney Schneider he was trained for 2.5 years starting in mid 2006. Steve Bayman finished his apprenticeship in 2009 and acquired his tattoo license after passing the Wichita Falls Tattoo exam. His first Job in the tattoo industry landed him at Classic Tattoo Company which was also owned by Steve Blakely. Steve remains grateful to all the artists that helped him initially learn tattooing. These artist include Steve Blakely (RIP), Rodney Schneider (owner of Shine on Tattoo in Lawton , Oklahoma), Robert Ulman (owner of Home Port Tattoo in Corpus Christi, Texas) , Rob Harris (RIP) and John Saucedo.
Steve is also grateful for the time he spent with the crew over at Butchs Tattoo in Blue Springs, Missouri. Having worked with Butch and his crew for 7 years it’s bitter sweet to open his own shop. He will always be part of the BTC at heart.
Steve's tattooing is influenced by Neo-Traditional style of tattooing that has bold line work and bold color. He was trained in a high volume fast paced walk in environment and is used to tattooing walk in style tattoos as well.
Shortly after destroying Sauron using her sacred elven tattoo machine , Lindsey left Middle Earth and joined the forces of Golden Stag Tattoo. She slays tattoos with the utmost of ethereal grace and produces true works of art that even the high elves would be proud of.
Zach Yates began his tattoo journey in 2011 by apprenticing under Chris Schumann (RIP) at Knob Town Ink in Kansas City. He was officially licensed in April 2013 and continued to learn the trade at Knob Town Ink for 6 months where Chris emphasized the importance of color theory, composition, and how to create quality tattoos that last a lifetime.
Zach then continued to hone his craft at Ink Parlor in Kansas City for a year where he worked with Rachael Cross, Amy Bug, Logan Shackelford, and Tim Johnson. He is thankful for his time at Ink Parlor as it gave him the opportunity to work in a fast-paced, walk-in oriented environment.
In January 2015 Zach had the opportunity to help open Triple Black Tattoo in Blue Springs with Carl Mori and Vinnie Rheuark. Over the next 3 and a half years Zach developed his style of neotraditional, black and grey realism, and sacred geometry/stippled work. The crew at Triple Black became family and he is forever grateful for the love and support they have shown, as well as the knowledge he has gained from them all.
Kai C. W. Pierce , also known as Foknoire, is an illustrator and tattoo apprentice. She is inspired by history and folklore, with techniques drawn from intricate engravings and haptic mark-making. By merging black lines and symbolic imagery on skin and paper, she explores flora and fauna imbued with a sense of the fleeting and haunted.
Kai graduated from the Kansas City Art Institute (KCAI) in 2016 with a BFA in painting and art history.
The Infamous Tommy Rick is a wizard of many styles. He can use his incantations to summon the most fine line tattoo or the most detailed color blended piece. Mr. Rick has studied his craft deep in the mysterious realms of the druids and uses those ethereal powers to provide patrons with tattoos that even the high goddess would be proud of.
